WHAT IS A CAVIAR WEEK

Caviar Week is a platform for a community that seeks to explore & experience caviar. It is collection of 52 immersive presentations of Caviar. Together, consumers, restaurants and brands identify with and celebrate the History, Culture, Cuisine, Economy & Ecology of Caviar. The global collection of gatherings is distributed across hundreds venues, world-wide & year-round. Each individual week is presented in a different city. Caviar Week is “Caviar Brand Agnostic”. This means we are NOT a caviar producer promoting only our brand. Rather, we are a platform for ALL caviar producers to showcase their product and tell their story.

FOR COSUMERS

Caviar week is a way to explore and experience caviar at all levels. Some gatherings cater to The Caviar Curious, others to Caviar Connoisseurs and some to Caviar Aficionados. There is always a range of offerings and price points to match the consumers interest, intent and budget.

FOR RESTAURANTS

For restaurants, a Caviar Week is the OPPOSITE of a Restaurant Week as there is no expectation or requirement to offer a discount. Rather, the opportunity here is to feature your premium caviar offerings at standard prices. Caviar Week can be used as a great opportunity to educate your staff on caviar, caviar service and more. Caviar Week offers guests an “in restaurant “dining offering” that affords restaurants an opportunity to showcase their caviar service, a dish that features caviar and/or a caviar & wine pairing package.. FOR PARTNERS

Caviar Week offers “sponsors or partners” the opportunity to pair their product, service, experience or destination with the global and ancient branding, positioning and traditions of caviar. FOR MEDIA

Caviar Week offers an “media outlets” the opportunity to create compelling content, web traffic, data collection and/or community building though their coverage of gatherings and dining options.

GATHERINGS

The Collection of gatherings each Caviar Week offers will be unique, evolving, enchanting & engaging. Some may be as small as 6 guests. Rarely will they exceed 30 guests.

Various kinds of gatherings will be offered throughout each week. Some will be presented in gardens, others in galleries. Hotels, resorts, restaurants, boutiques and other elegant venues will host a gatherings along a continuum of price points and complexity.

Think of a Caviar Week to be to caviar what a Fashion Week is to fashion; a “distributed event series” presented across a host of venues, during a 7 day time frame….each with a unique themes, features and offerings.

One event might pair caviar with champagne in a Botanical Garden and another might pair caviar with bourbon in a Speakeasy. One might be ticketed at $150 for the Caviar Curious and feature fine yet affordable & approachable product for those new to caviar and another might be priced at $500 and feature some of the finest caviar in the world for the seasoned Caviar Aficionado.

DINING OPPORTUNITIES

Caviar Week offers restaurants the opportunity to “flex” their caviar game and for consumers to experience different caviar offerings and services at various restaurants within a city. During Caviar Week restaurants will feature their caviar service, use of caviar in dishes and/or a premium caviar & wine pairing packages for any sized group, at a time of the customers choosing. These offerings will be part of their regular service and consumers can choose from a collection of 12 “Black Pearl’s” or Elite Caviar Destinations. Guests in pursuit of an elite caviar experience in a restaurant setting (rather than at a scheduled & themed gathering) will have a host of choices to do so, in a host of cities, world-wide & year-round.

KEVIN JOSEPH, Founder, Evangelist & Master Mermmelier

Kevin created Caviar Week as an opportunity for all to celebrate “The Joy of Caviar”. His vision is for it to serve several parties to Caviar: Consumers, Restaurants, Premium Caviar Producers & Distributors, Brands (Services, Experiences & Destinations) and Media Outlets.

The goal of a Caviar Week is to be a “Rising Tide” for all those that can benefit from consuming, serving or associating fine caviar and the rituals and traditions that make it “the most dynamic food on Earth”. At the same time, Kevin hopes to create an enduring & exciting vehicle for “Caviar Related Marketing”. Through this effort brands of all kinds can use Caviar Week to position and present their products, services, experiences & destinations.

Kevin is a Master Mermmelier; an aficionado & educator within the Seafood & Hospitality industry. A seasoned Event Producer & Marketer, he is the creator of NY Oyster Week. As a Chef & Restauranteur Kevin is the Creator, Owner & Operator of Raw Lab & LTLE FISH. And as a caterer & consultant, he is the CEO of Empire Oyster. LEARN MORE ABOUT KEVIN HERE

Kevin’s passion and mission is to Protect, Preserve and Restore the People, Places and Processes which produce safe, healthy, sustainable & responsible foods, particularly seafoods.

JAMES LEWIS, Co-Founder @ NOLA Caviar Week, POD-CASTER, NOLA Native & Epicurean

James shares Kevin’s passion and mission and the goal of creating meaningful expressions for food. As a NOLA Native, James brings to bare a rich network of friends and associates to bare in The Crescent City. His Podcast, Retire Southern features interesting & influential creators & characters in The South.
