EMPIRE OYSTER @ CHARLESTON
We are very happy to announce that we will be bringing EMPIRE OYSTER to Charleston in the Fall of 2021 and opening in a cool, new Food & Brew Hall called Port of Call. In the heart of Historic Downtown Charleston we will offer two distinct experiences and menus in two very different spaces.
In the MAIN FOOD HALL we will operate a glorious OYSTER TEMPLE that features up to 15 varieties of oysters from both near and far. The indoor & outdoor FOOD HALL will feature 3 full bars and have dozens of beers on tap along with an impressive wine list. Here we will be offering an elite raw bar in a fast casual service style. Guests will order at the counter and take their oysters and other dishes to a table they have secured. food hall and courtyard will offer community seating.
Off the massive outdoor courtyard, in a PRIVATE DINING SPACE, we will will create the world’s only full OMAKASE RAW BAR EXPERIENCE. This is a kind of vanguard test kitchen / chefs table and called RAW LAB. Guests to the RAW LAB will be able to dine a la carte or make reservations. The wine, sake, cider, beer & spirits program in this room will be ultra-premium, but limited such that it will not be a “mixology” experience.
All if our offerings will be enjoyed year round, indoors and outdoors, in this 10,000 sf space. At both our RAW LAB & OYSTER TEMPLE we’ll offer several MARINE CUISINE & DelicaSEAS dishes at all price points from peel & eat shrimp to fine caviar. THIS WILL NOT BE another “Seafood Restaurant that ALSO serves oysters” No, this will be the single best raw bar experience anywhere, ever!
